I think Privacy Mode is a useful feature but lenovo t420 integrated camera such a thing without an introduction is a very bad idea. After clicking ok or whatever was necessary I then went back and tested by opening the camera app on Win10 and finally it was working.
I now it’s rather late to post any answers here, but I just had the same problem and the solution is actually much less cumbersome than all the answers so far. I have an X and running W7 Pro and since I updated drivers with Lenovo tools and thus installed Ricoh lfnovocamera started with strange behaviours frozen lenovo t420 integrated camera, image upside-down -yes really!

I find your answer a bit misleading. One thing thow is that Skype seems to detect it.

In the Communications Utility window, configure the camera settings lenovo t420 integrated camera on your individual needs. I have just tried to rollback with universal driver intgrated you adviced and seems to work properly.

I am also sailing on the same boat. Lenovo T integrated camera is not working. Strange as i though when i installed the driver from Intfgrated it would integratd get installed but it seems not Its in my office machine.
Icons used here are from Web 2 Mini pack. I must also lenovo t420 integrated camera that the integrated camera is not showing in my device manager with! This will help the camerw of the Community with similar issues identify the verified solution and benefit from it.
I usually just hit and run a bit with forums as they require signing up but as lenovo t420 integrated camera is Microsoft and I have an account i felt I should give back: Message 7 of Try to update to some other server.
Then you should get a view from the lenovo t420 integrated camera camera, if it doesn’t work, there is something wrong with integrated camera. Furthermore, I have also checked on people doing BIOS updates and to kenovo that it has made there systems unstable. Will give update if I get those utility softwares installed again and found the problem same as you described. Lenovo makes a few tools that may work.
