If still says the disk needs to be formatted even though I know it has files on it. This thread is locked.
TEAC FDPUB USB floppy drive
In reply to Nyima Yonten’s post on April 11, I opened the device properties page for the floppy in Device Manager, selected the Update Driver button on the Driver tab, selected the option to search f-05pub driver in a specified location.
Why it disappears from “This PC” is a mystery. When I remove the disk from the Floppy Drive, the Floppy Drive still seems to want to access the disk even though there is not one in the drive – the green light on the front of the drive turns on repeatedly and you can hear the motor spin.

Although “Floppy Disk Drive A: I have checked this device compatibility in Windows 7, and I cannot find any information about this device. Windows 10 USB Floppy Drive not working – Microsoft Community
The issue could occur if the USB Floppy driver is corrupt. So far I’ve tried all 4 USB ports and no acknowledgment whatsoever from windows.
